Michelle M. Wise, LPC is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Pennsylvania with 20 years of counseling experience. Michelle is a seasoned and experienced counselor who is passionate about wellness and mental health.  

Michelle has compassion for people going through life’s challenges and transitions and feels privileged to work with those who are seeking support.  Michelle utilizes a person-centered therapeutic approach which encompasses her client’s strengths to foster a therapeutic relationship while working towards attainable goals.

Michelle grew up in Northwestern Pennsylvania and graduated from Edinboro University in 2001.  Michelle continued her education by obtaining her Master’s Degree in Counseling in 2004.  Her clinical experience has allowed her to work in a variety of settings, including a residential treatment facility for adolescent females, emergency room behavioral health, adult and gero-psychiatric hospitalization, community-based mental health care, and private practice.  

To practice her own self-care, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family and friends.  She enjoys watching psychological thrillers, reading, collecting Egyptian jewelry and artwork, and traveling the world.  In her free time, she enjoys being a human servant to her cat Graycee.  She strives to be a lifelong learner, and is always seeking new opportunities to grow both as a person and within her clinical skills.
