HOW MUCH DOES EACH SESSION COST?

We accept several major health insurance carriers and bill them according to your plan.  Please check with your insurance company for any out-of-pocket costs you may be responsible for, and for any other limitations related to your mental health benefits.  We check your mental health benefits for you during the onboarding process, and provide as much information regarding your benefits as we can, but we highly recommend you check on your mental health insurance benefits yourself as well.  Self-pay is also available if you do not have or do not want to use health insurance.  Please contact us for self-pay pricing or any questions you may have related to your health insurance.  We are happy to help!

WHAT INSURANCE PLANS ARE WE IN-NETWORK WITH?

We independent therapists accept commercial health insurance plans from Highmark, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, UPMC, Aetna, United Healthcare, and Optum.  Several of these plans have subsidiary plans they also accept and may be under a different name.  It is always best to call our office to find out if your therapist is in-network with your plan.

DO YOU BILL MY HEALTH INSURANCE?

Yes, we bill the health insurance plans your independent therapist is in-network with for each of your therapy sessions.  We will also provide you with a Superbill you can submit to your health insurance plan if your plan is out of our network and you have out-of-network benefits.

DO YOU ACCEPT MEDICAID OR MEDICARE?

Unfortunately, none of our independent therapists are in-network with any Medicaid or Medicare plans.

IN WHICH STATES DO YOU PROVIDE YOUR THERAPY SERVICES?

Currently, all of the independent therapists provide services to residents in the state of Pennsylvania only and some offer in-person counseling at our Edinboro, PA offices, and virtual counseling across all of Pennsylvania.    Check with us if you are out of state as that may change.

DO YOU OFFER IN-PERSON COUNSELING?

Yes!  Some of our independent therapists offer in-person counseling at our Edinboro, PA offices.  They all offer high quality video therapy sessions across all of Pennsylvania.

Question 7

DO YOU NEED TO BE LOCATED IN PENNSYLVANIA TO SEE ONE OF INDEPENDENT THERAPISTS?

Accepted Answer

Yes,  you currently do need to be physically located in Pennsylvania during your therapy session.  However, if you reside in a state close to the Pennsylvania border, you may be able to attend your therapy session from a parked vehicle or other static location in Pennsylvania as long as you are in physically in Pennsylvania at the time of your session.

WHAT IS THE LENGTH AND FREQUENCY OF THE THERAPY SESSIONS?

Standard sessions are typically 50 to 60 minutes and can take place on a weekly, bi-weekly basis, or monthly basis depending on your particular needs/wants.

CAN ANYONE GET THERAPY ONLINE?

Accepted Answer

Yes anyone can receive online counseling as long as you have a smartphone, tablet, or computer and access to the internet.  Online therapy has been found to be just as effective as in-person treatment for adults, young adults, and teenagers.
