Learn More About Me:
Jessie has been working in the Mental Health field since 2004 and decided to return to school graduating from Gannon University in 2009 with her Master’s of Science in Community Counseling. She has broad experience working in the office, school, home, and community settings. Jessie has extensive practice facilitating groups and treating individuals and families focusing on trauma; trauma-informed care is Jessie’s passion. Jessie is an outdoors enthusiast who enjoys hiking, kayaking, and exploring with her family and dog. Travel feeds her soul; visiting new places, new people, and trying new foods adds richness to our journey together in this world. Jessie approaches mental health with a holistic lens, weaving many factors in treatment to enhance wellness. She is a certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing practitioner. Jessie has pursued training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and often integrates IFS with EMDR sessions. Jessie believes the growth experienced during and after our most difficult times helps to transform and define the moments within our lives, and she is therefore honored to be a part of helping people grow after facing hardship, tragedy, and trauma.
