Learn More About Me:
Lindsay graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, minoring in sociology, child development and family relations, with a concentration in sexual education and gender studies. In 2009 she joined the Transitions Program which was a new and unique intensive community mental health program working with transition-aged young adults with significant mental illnesses and little to no supports or resources. There she became immersed in ESFT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, CBT, group therapy and affirmative therapy as she worked with individuals, families, and couples facing compounded issues related to mental illness, trauma, grief/loss, poverty, pregnancy/parenting, marginalization, addiction, homelessness, and unemployment.
In 2018, Lindsay became Program Director while she worked on obtaining her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She graduated in 2020 as student of the year with summa cum laude honors. In 2022 she expanded her position by taking on Clinical Directorship of Regional Counseling Center, Inc. and in 2023 again expanded by adding Assistant Director.
Lindsay's main passion is helping others. She uses her own life experiences, education, and training to deliver eclectic treatments and interventions tailored to meet individual needs. She believes her clients are the experts on themselves and developing a therapeutic alliance with a skilled clinician is the key to self-discovery and healing. In her free time, Lindsay enjoys being with her family and 3 dogs, cooking, gardening, and tending to her pond. Her backyard is her own oasis that she enjoys sharing it with family and friends.
